LOS ANGELES — Federal agents seized approximately $300,000 in cash during a search warrant operation at a West Los Angeles business, temporarily shutting down marijuana and vape product sales as part of an ongoing investigation.
Authorities say the operation took place Wednesday morning in the 11100 block of Tennessee Avenue, near the busy intersection of Sepulveda and Olympic boulevards.
The raid was conducted by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) in partnership with the Torrance Police Department, according to officials.
Federal Agents Execute Search Warrant
Law enforcement officials confirmed that DEA agents served a federal search warrant at the business as part of an ongoing investigation.
Local police were also called to assist during the operation.
According to authorities, Los Angeles police officers were dispatched around 8:15 a.m. Wednesday to support federal agents while the warrant was being carried out.
Investigators seized approximately $300,000 in U.S. currency during the operation, officials said.
Officials did not immediately provide additional details about possible arrests or criminal charges tied to the investigation.
Marijuana and Vape Products Placed Under Embargo
In addition to seizing cash, authorities took steps to stop sales at the business.
Members of California Cannabis enforcement officials placed an embargo on all marijuana and vape pen products located at the site.
The embargo prohibits the sale, transfer, distribution, or destruction of the products while the investigation remains active.
Officials say this measure effectively stops the business from generating revenue from those items until the investigation is resolved.

Investigation Remains Ongoing
Authorities say the search warrant and seizures are connected to a larger investigation being conducted by federal and local law enforcement agencies.
Officials have not released further details about the nature of the investigation or whether additional enforcement actions may follow.
The DEA said the case remains active as investigators continue reviewing evidence gathered during the operation.
