Mineral Point football hosted the Cuba City Cubans in a Friday night showdown. The Cubans came out and shocked the crowd on a huge first play leading to a first drive touchdown. The Cubans took an early lead 6-0, but from there on out it was all Pointers. Isaac Lindsey threw for 5 touchdowns and ran for one more as the Pointer football team defeated Cuba City 49 to 6.  Liam Stumpf and Grant Bossert each had two receiving touchdowns and Dominik McVay had one receiving touchdown along with one on the ground in the win. The Pointers travel to Iowa-Grant this Friday.
