Pointer Volleyball Team Goes 1-4 on first day of Onalaska Tourney

The Mineral Point girls volleyball team made the trip up to Onalaska Wednesday. The girls had a busy day as they played 5 matches. They didn’t get the results they were looking for, but the girls still have some positives to take away from the day. “Our offense was quick and we were on point. The energy wasn’t quite there, but we worked through it” said senior leader Lauren James. They suffered losses to Middleton, Cochrane-Fountain City, Stratford, and Webster. Their sole win came against Northwestern. The girls are looking to bounce back Thursday as the Onalaska Sprawl continues.
