Dodge-Point soccer played a non-conference match on Thursday against Viroqua and delivered two defeats against them from both the JV and V teams. JV went first and played a game of cat and mouse (actually it was a game of soccer) with their opponents, finally ending with a 2-1 victory. It was a sad day for the Varsity team, as their perfect record regarding their complete lack of goals scored against them all season was flushed down the drain after a rather controversial call ended with a Penalty Kick. Long story short, the result of said Penalty Kick was a result none of us wanted to see. But they managed to keep their heads up and still delivered a 2-1 victory. A bittersweet victory, but a victory nonetheless.
