The Pointers lost in a dogfight to Cuba 24-34, so their record drops to 2-3. The Pointers followed close behind the Cubans the whole game. One of the big plays of the night was when quarterback Joah Filardo found wide receiver Leyten Bowers down the sideline for a 70-yard touchdown in an attempt to keep the Pointers in the game. Bowers ended the night with two touchdowns and nearly 200 yards. The Pointers look to capture their third win of the season at Lancaster on Friday.
