Pointers Win With Last-Second Shot Against Undefeated Cubans

On Friday night, the boys’ varsity knocked Cuba City from the unbeaten ranks with a 52 to 50 victory. Bodie Bossert hit the game-winner with 8 seconds left in the game for the Pointers who trailed 29 to 13 at the half. Bryce Acherman led the victors with 13 points and Bodie Bossert added 10. Letyen Bowers grabbed 10 rebounds and Owen Ward had 8. Dominik McVay led the Pointers with 4 assists. The JV boys also defeated Cubans by a score of 64-37. Landon Thousand led the team with 19 points while Alex Ross added 14.
