Cross Country Updates
September 6, 2022
The boys cross country teams and the middle school teams took part in the Ryan Zimpel Memorial Invitational yesterday at Boscobel. The varsity finished in second place behind first-place Iowa-Grant and ahead of third place Fennimore. Joey Robinson finished in 10th place.
The JV team finished in first place. Taitin Riley was 9th and Matthew Goninen 12th.
The middle school boys took second place honors behind Riverdale. In the 6th and 7th grade race Boden Chambers was 4th, Logan Swinehart 6th, Nolan Allendorf 15th, Aiden Patterson 21st and Bo Lindsey 44th.
Johnny Robinson took 11th place in the 8th grade race and Alastan Van Overmeer 28th.
The middle school girls finished in 4th place. Emme Oellerich took part in the 6th and 7th place race and was 47th.
In the 8th grade race Lily Houtakker was 7th, Faye Schuette 9th and Lucy Paynter 38th.

In Cross Country on Saturday at the Darlington Invitational, the Dodge-Point girls outdistanced second place Mount Horeb 41 to 75.
Ellie Robinson took first place honors with a time of 19:14.

In the JV girls’ race, Dodge-Point took top honors again. This time defeating second place Lancaster by a score of 57 to 75.
