September 10th 

It was a long day for the Varsity volleyball team. They took an early trip to Brodhead to take on many teams. The girls started off by competing against themselves in pool play. They went 3 – 1, isn’t that crazy?

The team took down both Juda teams and Albany by scores of 2 – 0. Later the girls worked their tails off but unfortunately fell to host Brodhead 2 – 0.

The team had to keep their heads up though because they still had bracket play. Knowing that they had made it into the gold bracket the girls knew they had to work hard and keep communicating. To start bracket play the team went 2 – 1 against New Glarus before defeating Evansville 2 – 0 and finishing in third place overall.
