Varsity Volleyball Takes 2nd at Iowa – Grant Tournament

Varsity girls competed in the Iowa – Grant tournament on Saturday, September 17. The girls went in excited to start their day and do their best. The day started with pool play with two other teams — Seneca and Highland. The girls defeated the two teams winning 2 sets in each match and placed the girls in the gold bracket. After their two wins, the girls were holding their heads up high and wanted to go all the way.

In the first match of the gold bracket, the girls won 2 sets. They, unfortunately, fell to Dodgeville 0-2 and placed 2nd in the tournament. Senior Kennedy Kabat wanted to add, “I thought the Iowa-Grant tournament on Saturday went very well for us. We were able to face some strong teams that we don’t normally play in the regular season. Overall, it was a great learning experience, and we are continuing to improve every day!”
