On Thursday, The Pointers traveled to Offordville to take on the Parkview/Albany Vikings. The Pointers’ defense made an impact immediately as Brendan Lynch scored on a 34 yard fumble recovery for a touchdown which he followed up with a 56 yard rushing touchdown. Eli Lindsey then ran in a 5 yard touchdown. 

Brendan Lynch connected again with a 2 yard rushing touchdown. Eli Lindsey then connected with Reid Acherman for a 18 yard touchdown pass. Eli ran in another touchdown from 17 yards out. Then Eli connected with Tarrin Riley from 20 yards out for a touchdown. The Pointers took a 49-0 lead into halftime.

Then finally Jaxson Wendhausen connected with Maddix Jackson for a 9 yard touchdown pass. The Pointers won this game 55-0. Maddix Jackson said in the win, “It was nice getting my first touchdown of my career.” 

The Pointers will take on the Cuba City Cubans at Ron Murphy Field Friday, October 14, 2022, for a chance to go to the playoffs.
