This Tuesday, the Pointer Varsity Boys Basketball team opened their season with a 50-34 victory over rival Dodgeville.  Eli Lindsey led the Pointers with 15 points while Alex Ross added 13 including 3 three-pointers.  Landon Thousand dished out 11 assists and Cooper Palzkill grabbed 8 boards. The Pointers came out the gates with a very slow start but brawled back twice as hard. The Pointers’ defense had a tough job stopping the Dodgers Center, Chandler Batchelor, with his 7’1” stature, but found a way to stop penetration in the post. The Pointers had an all-around great defensive performance holding the Dodgers to just 34 points.
