This past weekend the Mineral Point Wrestling team traveled to Wisconsin Dells to take part in a dual tournament. They wrestled five matches against the teams Campbellsport, D.C. Everest, Reedsburg, G.E.T/Melrose-Mindoro, and Cadott. The Pointers ended the day with 3 wins against Campbellsport, Reedsburg, and G.E.T/Melrose-Mondoro and 2 losses against D.C. Everest and Cadott. 

Senior, Graham Fitzsimmons, wrestled for the first time this season and walked away with 5 pins. When asked how it felt to be back, Fitzsimmons said, “It felt pretty good. You know, last year when I got hurt I couldn’t wrestle for the rest of the season, and that was a bummer for me. But being able to come back and just come back strong like that was pretty fun stuff.”
