Pointers Rally in a Second-Half Comeback to Defeat Conference Rival Cuba City

On Friday the Pointer boys hosted conference rival Cuba City hoping to move up in the rankings. Two Pointers had double-doubles in the win while Landon Thousand nears 100 assists on the season. Eli Lindsey had 18 points and 10 rebounds performing the double-double. Luke Kisgen also had a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds.
Alex Ross had 15 points on 5 three-pointers while Landon Thousand added 15 assists. The Pointers were down at half but found a way back into the game taking the tough fought win over the Cubans 67-58. Landon Thousand said on his 15 assists “I was looking for my teammates, and they were getting open and making their shots.”
