The Mineral Point football team started the season with an impressive 46 to 2 victory over the Viroqua Blackhawks.  Junior running back Will Straka had five touchdowns and Sophomore Dominik McVay added two TD’s as the Pointers coasted to the victory.  Senior Quarterback Isaac Lindsey finished the night completing 6 of 9 passes for 196 yards including two touchdowns, an 87-yard strike to McVay and an 11-yard pass to Straka.
