Senior Night Win for MP Girls Basketball

Last night, the Pointers hosted the Riverdale Chieftains in a conference game.
The Pointer JV took the win with a score of 68 to 15. Ellie Robinson led with 12 points and Reagan Galle added 11.
Afterward, MP Varsity took the court and quickly got off to a 19-1 lead. At halftime, the Pointers were leading 31 to 14. The Pointers took the victory with an overall score of 72 to 35. Belle Watters led in scoring with 17 points. Kennedy Wenger added 13 and Laci Lindsey added 10 points.
Our three seniors, Kennedy Wenger, Kennedy Kabat, and Katelyn Cox, were recognized before the game and a celebration of the three of them followed the victory. All three are three-sport athletes and put in lots of effort and hard work toward basketball. Katelyn and Kennedy Wenger brought home a silver ball during their sophomore year, and all three of them were a part of the Wisconsin State Champion team and contributed to winning of the gold ball last season.
