Last Home Meet for DMPIG Gymnastics
Last Saturday, February 4 and Monday, February 6, the DMPIG gymnastics competed at Dodgeville High School for the last home meets of the season.
On Saturday DMPIG gymnastics hosted a varsity invitational. The JV competed as a varsity team and had a 104.625 score which was ten points higher than the last meet. Erica Lease scored 23.42 in the all-around and Alana Dubois competed in floor, balance beam, and uneven bars.
The Varsity finished with a score of 129.52. Ally Baehler got her first 9.00 on floor and finished with a score of 32.95 in the all-around.
On Monday, February 6, DMPIG competed against Prairie Du Chien and celebrated Senior Night. Once again the team succeeded.
The JV team finished 1st with a score of 106.2500. Erica Lease got 2nd place in balance beam with 6.700 and 3rd place in vault with 7.200 and all around with a score of 23.400. She also marked 3.000 in Uneven Bars and 6.500 in Floor Exercise.
Alana Dubois finished 1st in Uneven Bars with 6.000 and 2nd in Balance Beam with 6.700.
The Varsity Team earned 1st place with 131.2500. Ally Baehler finished 2nd in the all-around with 34.175. She also got first place in balance beam with a 9.100 and in floor with 8.950. Ally Baehler also marked 8.200 in vault and 8.025 in uneven bars.
