Tuesday, May 5, The Mineral Point Pointers dominated the Barneveld Eagles 4 to 3 at Eagles territory. Kennedy Kabat was up to bat with bases loaded while the Pointers were down in the score. Kabat smashed a double sending Kennedy Wenger and Ella Kroll toward home plate. The advance brought the tight game to a tie game, 2-2. Later in the game, Liz Hoffman had a line drive out to center field and Kennedy Kabat ran from 2nd to home. The Eagles quickly threw the ball in, making it a close call. Kennedy Kabat slid home, bringing the score to 4-3. It was a close game throughout the entire night. The Pointers defended the field at the bottom of the 7th inning ending the game 4-3.

In JV action, the Pointer girls excelled 5-0 against the Barneveld Eagles.
