October 11

Last night, your Pointer Volleyball team took on the Wildcats for the second time. Before the varsity game, the JV team played and won all three sets with scores of 25-13, 25-8, and 15-9. Following that, the Varsity girls played their second to last home game, making sure to leave it all on the court. In the first set, Pointers won over the Wildcats 25-17, and the same result in the second set with the score being 25-16. Finally, in the last set, the girls put up the won 25-13, sweeping the Wildcats for the second time this season. Junior McKenzie Aurit stated, “We played very well as a whole. Our team stuck together through it all, and we came out with a sweep!” Travel down to Riverdale on the 12th to watch your girls battle the Riverdale Chieftains. We better see you in your red, white, and blue, supporting the theme of America!
