Pointers Destroy the Chieftains

Last night in boys basketball action, the Pointers cruised to a smooth victory defeating the Riverdale Chieftains 90 to 40. Owen Ward had 21 points, Dominik McVay and Joah Filardo added 13 each, while Bryce Acherman had 11 in the win. Joah also had 6 assists and 4 steals. Owen added 4 steals. Bryce and Dominik had 5 rebounds apiece. In Jv action, the Pointers kept their winning ways going, defeating the Chieftains 67 to 21. Brady Radtke led them with 17 points. The Varsity boys move to 16-2, while the JV boys move to 15-1. The Pointers will travel to Fennimore to take on the Golden Eagles on Friday.
