The Mineral Point Volleyball team heads up to Brodhead High School this Thursday to play at the 2022 WIAA Sectional Semi-Finals. This is not the first time Mineral Point and Broadhead have played each other this season. Mineral Point fell to Brodhead (0-2) at the beginning of September earlier this year. With a Mineral Points record of (26-7) and a Brodhead’s record of (33-4), it is expected to be the closest match-up this season. With the circumstances of playing each other during the Brodhead tournament in September, the rules are you play best out of 3. With the game being played on Thursday, the winner is determined by the best of 5 sets. With it being the Sectional Semi-Finals, whatever team loses, this will be their last game of the season.

This will be the fourth time that Mineral Point has made it to the Sectional Semi-Finals of the WIAA state tournament in school history. The first time was in 1997 under head coach Vickie Dahl, as that team made their run to the Sectional finals, where they fell to the Hustisford Falcons.
