Pointer Basketball Boys Win at Prairie du Chien
Last night in boys basketball the Pointers defeated the Prairie du Chien Black Hawks 71 to 34. Alex Ross had 15 points on 5 second-half threes. Bryce Vamstad had a career-high 13 points and Eli Lindsey added 13 points along with 6 rebounds. Landon Thousand dished out 7 assists.
A highlight from the game was when Alex Ross pulled up from distance and drained a three. Landon Thousand said after the game, “We came out slow but in the second half we really picked it up. We beat a pretty good Prairie team and it was a great defensive effort all around.”

Freshman Brett Bossert is a first-year member of the Pointer Media Team. Brett wants to be a news anchor for sports.
